Classes Outline:

Part One: Warm welcome.

Handstand body positioning workshop.

Part Two: Warming up the whole body based on working flexibility, mobility and strength. This section focuses heavily on shoulders and wrists.

Part Three: Handstand Progression -
This section helps students to build confidence on standing upside down. By demonstrating and reinforcing confidence from the very start. Working with many handstand progressions on the wall or off (dynamic and static positions). Spotting and different entries to handstand included.
Miguel will show the most common body position mistakes based on his own methods and techniques with support and encouragement for each individual to progress until they are able to jump into a free handstand in the FUTURE.

For advanced students, Miguel will be ADVISING similar progressions but instead of leaning on the wall to free handstand practice. YOU will be challenged to go to the next level no matter where you are at on your journey.

Checking in: Before we begin the practice section on the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th class, Miguel will check with students to find out how they feel about the previous class and to answer any quick questions or concerns they may have during their week home practice.
